Historic Voting in Bihar: No Re-polling Recommended After 2025 Assembly Elections
Patna, Bihar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced on Wednesday that, for the first time in recent years, no re-polling has been recommended at any of the 122 assembly constituencies where the second phase of voting was held on 11 November 2025. This marks a historic moment in Bihar’s electoral history, as voting in both phases concluded peacefully without any major disturbances or irregularities.
The Election Commission stated in an official release:"After thorough scrutiny, no discrepancies or irregularities were found at any polling station, and therefore, no recommendation for re-polling has been made. This follows the first phase of elections, which also witnessed zero re-polling."
