Delhi Blast: Terrorist Dr. Adil Desperate for Funds, WhatsApp Chats Reveal Shocking Details

New Delhi: The meticulous planning behind the Delhi blast is slowly coming to light. Investigators have recovered WhatsApp chats from Dr. Adil Ahmad Rather, a key conspirator, revealing that he was desperately seeking money before the attack. Authorities believe these funds were being collected to execute the bombing.

Desperate Financial Requests
Before the blast shook the capital, Dr. Adil was reportedly sending WhatsApp messages to multiple contacts, pleading for money. According to investigations, these messages were deleted after the attack but have now been successfully recovered by agencies.

The chats reveal details of Adil’s financial situation. News-18 reports that the terrorist showed restlessness and urgency in his messages, repeatedly asking for funds, including requests for salary advances. He emphasized that he had a critical need for money to carry out his plans.

Connection Between Funds and the Attack
The recovered chats correspond to four crucial days in early September—5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th. Analysts believe that these urgent financial requests were directly linked to the blast plot. Investigations show that a total of ₹26 lakh was collected to execute the attack, of which Adil contributed ₹8 lakh himself.

Another Arrest Made in Terror Case
Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently arrested Shoaib from Faridabad, who had provided shelter to Dr. Umar un Nabi, the car bomber involved in the November 10 Red Fort attack. Shoaib, a resident of Dhauj, Faridabad, is the seventh person arrested in this case. NIA stated that Shoaib not only provided lodging but also assisted with logistical support prior to the attack.

These revelations highlight the precarious financial and operational planning behind the Delhi blast, exposing the critical role of accomplices in facilitating terrorism.
