Devghar, Jharkhand: In a shocking incident from Devghar, a husband and wife lost their lives after a violent altercation escalated over a minor disagreement. The tragic episode unfolded in a rented house in the Belabagan area of Devghar city, where Ravi Sharma (30) and his wife Lovely Sharma (24) were found dead, both apparently attacked with sharp weapons.

According to police, the couple had a dispute late Tuesday night which escalated into a deadly confrontation. Both reportedly attacked each other with a knife, resulting in fatal injuries. A knife was recovered from the scene.

Bodies Found in Rented House

Neighbors alerted the police after failing to contact the couple on Wednesday morning. On arrival, officers discovered both Ravi and Lovely Sharma lying in a pool of blood inside their rented accommodation. The deceased were identified, with Ravi originally from Siwan, Bihar, and Lovely Sharma a resident of June Pokhar, Devghar.

Investigation Underway

Devghar police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. Inspector Rajiv Kumar stated that the exact circumstances leading to the incident will only be clear after a thorough investigation and autopsy reports. Initial findings confirm that the dispute, though minor, escalated fatally, leaving both spouses dead.
