Shamli, UP: A dramatic confrontation erupted in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, involving a police constable and his wife, highlighting allegations of extramarital affairs and misconduct. A female constable from Muzaffarnagar, wife of the Shamli-based cop, accused her husband of living with another woman, marrying her unofficially, and allegedly making her pregnant. The dispute escalated into a street-level commotion requiring police intervention.
Wife Confronts Husband
According to reports, the woman had suspicions about her husband’s behavior over several days. Upon confirming his relationship with another woman in Shamli, she went to his residence late at night to confront him directly. When the constable refused to open the door, she sought assistance from local police.
Upon knocking, the husband emerged and started verbally abusing his wife, escalating tensions. Two other women came out from inside, leading to a heated argument and physical altercation. Police personnel on site attempted to mediate, but the situation worsened. A video of the confrontation later surfaced, showing the chaos.
Uniformed Aggression
Shockingly, during the altercation, the constable briefly went inside, donned his police uniform, and returned more aggressive and defiant, continuing to verbally abuse his wife in public. The wife claimed that the other woman was pregnant with her husband’s child and stressed that their six-year-old son lived with her. She condemned her husband’s actions as not only illegal but also dishonorable for family, personal character, and police reputation.
